GARDEN
Gene 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Gene 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

TABERNACLE
Exod 40:33-34 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

TEMPLE
1Kin 8:10-11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

The Pattern fulfilled in both the tabernacle and temple, with God filling it with His Spirit after its completion, was not fulfilled in the Garden.

God had these structures made and then Filled them with His glory afterwards.

He wanted to dwell among Mankind

The Garden was made by God, too.

God put man into the garden and then God entered it afterwards.
But notice that something was not right by the time God entered it.
Gen 3:8 shows God entering the garden.
The structures after the Garden were actually MODELS OF THE GARDEN.
As the garden had cherubims keeping man out of the east entrance, the tabernacle and temple had cherubims embroidered into a veil that kept man out of the holiest.

We read of a discussion God had with Adam before God walked into it, and he explained the provisions and the stipulation of not eating the evil fruit.

When God is said to have entered into it, Adam and Eve already disobeyed Him and sinned.

God was going to fill that garden with His glory.

He built it and then put man into it to then fill the Garden Himself.
But Adam sinned.
And God had to deal with the sin instead of filling the Garden with glory.

It was as if God said, "Mankind, you failed. So now I will show you what I want in the form of models. And then you will understand what I wanted to do here, and my purpose when I will once again work the plan out at the endtimes."

So a tabernacle was made.

It had rituals and rules.
It was, in fact, a skin tabernacle.

Exod 26:14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent [of] rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above [of] badgers' skins.

We read of a second tabernacle.
David's Tabernacle.

2 Sam 6:17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

In 2 Sam 7, David gets an idea.

He wants a HOUSE for God and not merely a Tabernacle.
Prophet tells him to go ahead.
But then God speaks to the prophet and says that David is not to build the temple.
It turns out that Solomon, his son, would build it.

David conquered the enemies and took their gold and brass to later use for the temple.

Tabernacle of David stood so long as the temple material was collected and worked upon for temple construction.

It was a transitional structure.
When the temple was completed, the same ark that was in the tabernacle was moved into the temple.

So we have:

Tabernacle of Moses.
Tabernacle of David.
Temple of Solomon.

The Tabernacle of Moses had a badger skin covering.
Temple of Solomon was covered in gold and precious stones.

2Chr 3:5-7 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains. And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold [was] gold of Parvaim. He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.

This was a pattern for the will of God in man since the time of Genesis to the end of the entire bible.

Man fell away from the will of God in disobedience.

This was in the Garden.
And after God rebuked man and dealt with their sin, look at what we read:

Gene 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

COATS OF SKINS.

Just like the Tabernacle of Moses.

And this occurred since man ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.
The fruit of law.
The fruit of making oneself saved through simply knowing what is wrong and what is right, and living accordingly.
God did not want man to have knowledge of good and evil but rather life.

God would have taken man, who was naked, and clothed him with glory and righteousness had man not sinned.

But he clothed man in flesh.
Man sought to save self so he took knowledge of good and evil.
Clothed in flesh was the proper covering for such an erring one.

The Tabernacle of Moses shows a representation of man clothed in flesh.

It had animal skin covering.
It is all about keeping rules to improve one's self.
Salvation by works.
It was a Law of Moses that had so many rules that Peter said in Acts 15 their fathers and themselves could never bear that yoke.

The Tabernacle of Moses represents the Old Testament age.

Then the ritual was all removed when David' Tabernacle was erected on Zion.

There was no veil.
There was no candlestick.
There was no incense.
There was no altar!
Only one series of sacrifices were made at the inception of this tabernacle and David never offered any more again.

This represents the New testament age.

James even said the church age was the Tabernacle of David age.

Acts 15:14-17 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

The tabernacle of David stood so long as elements for the erection of the temple were gathered and worked upon.

David could not build the temple seeing he was a man of warring.
During this church age there are not rituals and laws like a code book of rules to save ourselves by.
And this is a day when we take the armour of the Spirit and fight the good fight of faith.

But while the Tabernacle of David was in ministry, there were still priests at Moses Tabernacle who worked in a tabernacle of skins that had no ark of the covenant.

The ark was in David's Tabernacle.

This is the same in our time.

There are still Hebrews who rejected Christ and still worship under Law of Moses.
While the church has the true glory of God, the Jews still worship the old way without God's presence.

But when the ark moved into the completed Temple of Solomon, both the Tabernacle of Moses and the Tabernacle of David ceased operation.

That is because both the church and the Jews will see Christ as one people.
The Jews will receive the Holy Ghost just as the Church has it now.
They will cease their mosaic worship and be saved.

Roma 11:1-2 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

Roma 11:7-8 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Roma 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Israel shall be saved and accept Christ at the dawn of the end of the church age, the Tabernacle of David age, and the inception of the age of the Temple of Solomon, or the New Jerusalem completion of the temple construction of believers.

Peter said in 1 Peter 2 that we are the lively stones that God is presently building up into a temple.

And the temple is not covered in animal skins, as the tabernacle of Moses.

It is covered in gold.

This was what God originally wanted to do with Adam and eve.

Cover them in glory instead of animal skins.
But since man sought knowledge of good and evil, man was clothed in fleshliness.
And we are now to take off the old man, fleshliness and a life after the flesh, and put on the new man.
We are in Christ.

Look at the temple:

2Chr 3:5-6 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains. And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold [was] gold of Parvaim.

Now, look at the completed Church called the New Jerusalem in revelation.

Reve 19:18-19 And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones...

Paul speaks about our purpose:

2Cor 5:1-5 For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing [is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

He that wrought us for the selfsame thing!

In other words, God worked in our lives for the very purpose of having mortality swallowed up of life!

Adam was supposed to eat life and swallow up His mortality with that life.

But he went to the wrong tree of fleshliness.

When the temple was completed, in 2 Chr. 8, we read of the queen of Sheba coming in 2 Chr. 9.

2Chr 9:5-8 And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom: Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: [for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard. Happy [are] thy men, and happy [are] these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom. Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, [to be] king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

God was admired in all the temple and kingdom of Solomon.

What is Christ going to experience when the spiritual temple is complete?

2The 1:10-12 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

He will be glorified in the saints.

He will be admired of all them that believe in the saints!
God's name will be glorified in you.

Is He being admired in you now?

WE ARE THE TEMPLE IN CONSTRUCTION.

If you are not saved, you need to get in on this Building project.
It is the only thing God is concerned with in this world.
It should be your concern.
God is building.
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus, and receive the Holy Ghost baptism to get in on this building of God.
This is what God originally planned with Adam.
And now you have the opportunity to be in it!
Do not miss it like Adam missed it!
