Genesis 6:6-8 KJV And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (7) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Genesis 6:18 KJV But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

Genesis 7:11 KJV In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Noah's story is one of the perfect pictures of coming into the Christian life.

But also of going further, which many do not grasp, and entering into the fullness of the Christian life.
It's not just about getting out of a world of sin.

Interestingly enough, everyone concentrates on Noah building the ark and getting into it.

The world knows about the story, but only the part of getting into it with two kinds of animals, and about the flood.
Noah's story represents becoming a Christian.
But as the world only concentrates on the first part, Christians understand fully how the first part applies to us and how to get out of the world.
But the departure from the ark into a new world is not so much understood.

Notice that the first time GRACE is ever used in the bible, it is here.

Noah caught God's eyes.
His love for God caught God's attention.
And his story shows us what grace is all about.

It began when Noah entered the ark and "all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."

Prov 3:19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding he hath established the heavens.
Prov 3:20 . By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

The earth was only watered by a mist before Noah's flood.

Genesis 2:6 KJV But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

But within the depths of the earth and the sky above were reservoirs of water.

Prov 3:19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding he hath established the heavens.

Genesis 1:1 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

When God made the heavens and earth, he had so much locked up and packed away and hidden inside the earth and the heavens.

God made us from the heavens and earth as well.
This is why the heavens and the earth are mentioned first in Gen 1:1.
God breathed His breath from heaven into man and took dust of the earth to make the body of man.
We are made from elements of heaven and earth!

Genesis 2:7 KJV And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God made us with the purpose of being great in His kingdom!

And the depths break up and the windows of heaven open when GOD SPEAKS AGAIN!

God's KNOWLEDGE causes depths to break up and release the treasures, as well as the windows of heaven.

His wisdom and knowledge do this.
That is why it is so important to go beyond just getting saved and begin receiving ministry from the word of God's knowledge and wisdom!
This UNLOCKS and LOOSENS the awesome wonders of what God can do in your life!
WE NEED TO LEARN SOME THINGS!

Proverbs 3:19-20 KJV The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. (20) By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

The heavens speak of God's breath which he breathed into man - the spirit of a man.

The earth is man's body.

Just as Noah's flood with the fountains of the deep and windows of heaven washed away a world of sin, the knowledge of God will burst open and wash away all the nonsense in our understanding away.

All the errors and misunderstandings.
Truth exploded inside of us and truth frees us from the limitations that misunderstanding and incorrect understanding causes in our lives.
God's people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
Knowledge wipes out all that which brings destruction in our lives.

Proverbs continues, saying...

Proverbs 3:21-26 KJV My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: (22) So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. (23) Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. (24) When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. (25) Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. (26) For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Knowledge is mentioned in lieu of our spirituality:

Eph. 1:17-20…That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his might power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us…

There is power in us but it is locked up and away from sight!

KNOWLEDGE breaks the depths up and loosens this!

Bringing it TO THE SURFACE!
Power is IN US.
It must be brought to the surface!

Genesis 8:4 KJV And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

Ararat means "THE CURSE IS REVERSED".

Genesis 5:28-29 KJV And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: (29) And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

Noah's name MEANS "REST"!

Genesis 8:6-8 KJV And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: (7) And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. (8) Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

Luke 3:22 KJV And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

THE DOVE represents the HOLY GHOST.

When many attempt to go further into the deeper Christian life, they are unfamiliar with HOW TO DO SO.

Inside your life are TWO SOURCES of leading.
The raven and dove represent them.
FLESH AND SPIRIT.

Romans 8:5-8 KJV For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

What will you have lead you?

Lead to DEATH or LIFE?

Romans 7:6 KJV But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

We have to serve God, but THE METHOD we choose to serve Him is going to be one of two methods.

Newness of SPIRIT.
Oldness of LETTER.

One is the flesh and one is the Spirit.

Romans 7:10 KJV And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

Paul explained how much he failed serving God and then said his problem was summed up as follows...

Romans 7:25 KJV I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 8:1 KJV There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Because failure comes by serving God through FLESH, stop serving through flesh, or walking after flesh, and walk instead after the SPIRIT.

NEWNESS OF SPIRIT is the route to go in order to serve GOD!

Genesis 8:9 KJV But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

This contrasts the dove from the raven.

Since we are told "BUT the dove returned due to finding NO REST", we are supposed to understand that the the raven did not return because it did find what it considered to be rest.
Ravens are scavengers and feed upon DEAD BODIES.
They're CARRION birds.
There were may of those around at this time!
To be carnally minded is death.

The dove is repulsed by that!

Noah was looking for the birds to not return in order to indicate to him that he could leave the ark.

Genesis 8:12-13 KJV And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more. (13) And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

He left when the dove did not return.

So the indication the raven gave was FALSE!

It was NOT YET time to leave the ark.
Noah caught that when the raven did not return whereas the dove did!

Genesis 8:9-12 KJV But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. (10) And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; (11) And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. (12) And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

Notice the sequence.

Noah sends the dove and it returns.
Noah stays in the ark.
He sends it out a second time and it returns with an olive leaf!
Noah represents someone who is learning to walk after the Spirit and hear from the Spirit.

When the dove and raven were both loosed, and the raven did not return while the dove did, for Noah to stay inside the ark still indicates he leaned towards the evidence from the DOVE and not the raven.

Had Noah taken the raven's refusal, he would have DIED!
He has taken the first step in walking after the Spirit and not the flesh.
He ignored the flesh and believed the Spirit.
THEY GAVE OPPOSITE MESSAGES!
Your flesh will tell you to do things the Spirit would never tell you to do in a million years.

When you BEGIN listening to the Spirit like that, the MESSAGE BECOMES CLEARER, for you have GROWN.

Next time the dove is loosed and returns, it has an OLIVE LEAF IN IT'S MOUTH.

OLIVES are the sources of ANOINTING OIL used in the Old Testament, to indicate how God would EMPOWER and BLESS KINGS AND PRIESTS.

We are both kings and priests according to Rev 1:6

And the LEAF was in the beak of the dove representing the WORD FROM THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

You begin HEARING THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

You are LEARNING from the Spirit now!

And the message is saying THIS IS A TASTE OF WHAT IS OUT THERE IN THIS NEW WORLD - THIS NEW CREATION -- THIS KINGDOM OF GOD!

There ARE ENTIRE TREES FULL OF THESE LEAVES out there.
And that means there is abundance and abundance of ANOINTING OUTSIDE THIS ARK!

Song of Solomon 5:12 KJV (12) His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

Song of Songs 2:9-13 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over [and] gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines [with] the tender grape give a [good] smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Just like the dove coming to Noah's window and showing him an olive leaf in it's mouth, the beloved came to the Shulamite's window and encouraged her to ARISE AND COME AWAY!

The rains were gone and flowers were now on the earth!
The voice of the TURTLE is actually referring to the TURTLE DOVE.
The VOICE OF THE SPIRIT IS HEARD IN THE LAND!

Genesis 3:8 KJV And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: ...

It sounds like the GARDEN!

The VOICE OF GOD.

Fig tree puts forth figs, and is not like the hypocrite fig tree when Israel had all the trappings of praise but no fruits of praise for Jesus!

Mark 11:11-14 KJV And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. (12) And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: (13) And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. (14) And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Vines have tender grapes, and not wild grapes as false Israel.

Isaiah 5:1-2 KJV Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: (2) And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

Come away out of the ark and into the Kingdom!

The Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU, and is not a physical kingdom the Pharisees were confused would come.

Somehow the pharisees' error came into the church!

The kingdom of God is the WORLD OF THE HOLY GHOST!

Genesis 9:14-15 KJV And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: (15) And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

In Revelation a THRONE stood.

KINGDOMS HAVE THRONES.

Revelation 4:2-3 KJV And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Revelation 4:6 KJV And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

Like an island across a sea so still it looked like crystal (WATER BAPTISM) was a throne where a rainbow was located.

Revelation 5:7 KJV And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

Jesus is the NEW NOAH and crossed over to the rainbow enshrouded throne with the covenant, and took the book, like Noah received a covenant on Ararat betokened by the rainbow!

Destruction came to the false and the true Israel, the church, is blessed with a KINGDOM that shall never end, in which we presently stand right now!

ARISE!

RESURRECT!

RULE in the KINGDOM!

1 Peter 3:20-4:3 KJV Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (21) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: (22) Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. (4:1) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

Speaking of Noah and the flood, we read of Christ's resurrection and ascension to the throne!

WATERS AND THRONE.

Just Like Revelation 4!

The idea is that Revelation is taking Noah's story and trying to say it is showing us how we have come to a KINGDOM of POWER over sin.

Peter clarifies it by telling us we must arm ourselves with the mind that we are freed from defeat and have POWER and ANOINTING now!

Stop following the flesh.

GET THE SAME MIND as Christ - you do not have to live after the flesh to be dominated by the flesh any more!

MIND THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.

But first you have to RECEIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS!
KNOW YE NOT?

Romans 8:11-12 KJV But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

THE ANOINTING IS TO EMPOWER OR ANOINT YOU TO OVERCOME THE FLESH!

While you still are in a mortal body.

When you realize Rom 8:11 is not talking about the future but a present opportunity, you then realize there is a contrast with something else in Romans.

Romans 6:12 KJV Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Or...

Romans 8:11 KJV But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The idea of an OLIVE LEAF in the dove's mouth pointing to a whole kingdom outside the ark is seen in GETHSEMANE.

Gethesemane is where Jesus travailed in prayer until he sweat drops of blood.

It prepared Him for the cross.
There, He died completely to self one more time before he ever physically died.
GETHSEMANE means OLIVE PRESS.
Olives had to be pressed in order to get the OIL from them for anointing oil.

While Christ was denying His flesh in prayer, his disciples were sleeping, since their spirit was willing but their flesh was weak.

This means they desired to do good, like Paul said in Romans 7, in their spirits, but they found they were hindered by their flesh and the choice of their flesh got the better of them.
THEY COULD NOT PRAY ONE HOUR.

If there was ever an hour in which we need to stop walking after the flesh and instead after the SPIRIT IT IS NOW.

For decades, the old timers preached about power and revival, but NEVER TOUCHED THE HEART AND CHARACTER OF A CHRISTIAN.
This left many old timers sincere people, but viciously carnal in how they treated each other.
One oldtime I heard about loved church but had a vicious temper and was always humble enough to apologize but never spiritually mature enough to stop hurting people with his mouth.

Let's not SLEEP by letting our flesh have the best of us.

It's time to see the ANOINTING WORK by denying ourselves and following the dove into the all the blessings of the entire KINGDOM, and stop getting kicks out of looking through the window and only SEEING.
LET US LEAVE THE ARK!
