The Restoration of Eden's Kingdom

2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you
with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may
present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve
through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
When we read Genesis, it is important to know that the first three
chapters form the basis for everything else in the bible afterwards.
Even the idea of creation is used through the Old Testament to the thought of Israel becoming his people.
Deu 32:8 When the most High divided to the nations their
inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of
the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
Deu 32:9 For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
Deu 32:10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling
wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the
apple of his eye.
Deu 32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her
young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her
wings:
This passage is in pattern from Genesis.
WASTE is the same Hebrew word as WITHOUT FORM.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of
the waters.
And the picture of the eagle stirring her wings to flutter over her young is also taken from Genesis 1:2.
- The Hebrew word MOVED in Gen 1:2 is FLUTTERED.
Gen 1:2 YLT the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness is
on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face
of the waters,
God purposely had Moses speak of the Exodus as CREATION when Israel became His people with the OLD COVENANT.
Isa 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered
thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay
the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
We are a COVENANT PEOPLE who are also called new creation.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
So we see the OLD COVENANT PEOPLE called by CREATION terms and the NEW COVENANT PEOPLE also by creation terms.
- You have to understand this when you read about new heavens and earth later in the bible.
We begin to see there is an overall story from the front of the bible to the back.
- And we must keep that in mind when reading the bible.
- It is a far more organized book than what we think.
The Exodus is like the PATTERN OF CREATION in Genesis because God looks
at Israel entering the covenant with Him as a NEW CREATION.
And New Testament salvation has the same pattern.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and
ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Exodus 14:19-20 KJV And the angel of God, which went before the camp of
Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went
from before their face, and stood behind them: (20) And it came between
the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud
and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the
one came not near the other all the night.
Notice this:
When the enemy came upon Israel, God’s angel that was leading Israel moved
- behind them and stood between the Egyptians and the Israelites.
- And it was light to Israel but was Darkness to Egypt.
- JUST LIKE THE FIRST WORK OF CREATION.
Genesis 1:1-4 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the
earth. (2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of
the waters. (3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
(4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light
from the darkness.
Just like Israel being tormented by Egypt and treated like slaves, our lives were tormented by our sins that held us in bondage.
And the first step in seeing that broken is what Peter preached to the
Jews the day the church came to a new level as promised by Jesus.
THAT IS what REPENTANCE does.
- Just as Peter followed Jesus’ instruction, you HEAR TRUTH PREACHED OF THE CROSS AND WHY JESUS DIED and HOW HE RESURRECTED.
- WE WERE THE CAUSE OF HIS DEATH.
- God says LET THERE BE LIGHT!
- LIGHT OF TRUTH.
- When you repent as a result, God takes your sins and separates
them from you like God separated light from darkness, and separated the
Egyptians from the Israelites and made it dark on the side of the
pillar where Egypt was and light on the side where Israel was.
The second thing Peter said was BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.
Genesis 1:6-7 KJV And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst
of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (7) And
God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the
firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And the EXODUS showed the same pattern as well.
Exodus 14:21-22 KJV And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and
the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that
night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (22) And
the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry
ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and
on their left.
Egyptian soldiers represent our sins.
Exodus 14:26-29 KJV And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine
hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians,
upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. (27) And Moses stretched
forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when
the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD
overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. (28) And the waters
returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host
of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so
much as one of them. (29) But the children of Israel walked upon dry
land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on
their right hand, and on their left.
The sins God separates from you when you repent are then dealt with again by the waters.
Compare:
Acts 2:38 KJV Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
…
Luke 24:47 KJV And that repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
NOT ONE EGYPTIAN REMAINED ALIVE!
Exodus 14:30-31 KJV Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand
of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
(31) And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the
Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and
his servant Moses.
Exodus 15:1-2 KJV Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song
unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he
hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into
the sea. (2) The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my
salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my
father's God, and I will exalt him.
You can see baptism in Jesus' name in the Exodus!
- The Red Sea was baptism and LORD MY SALVATION was emphasized.
GOD BECAME THEIR SALVATION – THAT IS THE MEANING OF THE NAME JESUS – YASHUA!
The third element listed in Acts 2:38, after repentance and water baptism, is HOLY GHOST BAPTISM.
Acts 2:38 KJV Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and
ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The third thing in Genesis...
LIFE:
Gen 1:9-11 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered
together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the
waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let
the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree
yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:
and it was so.
Land "appearing" is existing but then being seen when formerly unseen.
- It was beneath the water.
- Resurrected when it appeared.
- Life was here as well as FRUIT TREES.
- Tree of Life.
- Third day is resurrection.
- Spirit causes FRUIT OF SPIRIT to grow in you.
HOLY GHOST BAPTISM IS LIFE IN YOU!
The garden was in Eden.
Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Ezekiel shows it was on a mountain.
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious
stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl,
the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle,
and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared
in thee in the day that thou wast created.
28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set
thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up
and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
God took Israel to a mountain after he repeated the creation pattern.
- Mount Sinai where the covenant was made that was likened to a marriage.
The woman is pictured to bring forth a seed to crush the serpent's head.
- Israel becomes known as that woman.
- But in her struggles she is often called a harlot.
Israel -- specifically JERUSALEM -- was also known as a BRIDE of God in the Old Covenant.
But notice how he mentions her abominations before describing her as a bride whom he married.
Eze 16:1-15 KJV Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, (2)
Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, (3) And say, Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the
land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
(4) And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was
not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast
not salted at all, nor swaddled at all. (5) None eye pitied thee, to do
any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast
cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day
that thou wast born. (6) And when I passed by thee, and saw thee
polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy
blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
(7) I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou
hast increased
and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts
are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and
bare. (8) Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy
time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered
thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with
thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. (9) Then washed I
thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and
I anointed thee with oil. (10) I clothed thee also
with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded
thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. (11) I decked
thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a
chain on thy neck. (12) And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings
in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. (13) Thus wast
thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen,
and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and
oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a
kingdom. (14) And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy
beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon
thee, saith the Lord GOD. (15) But thou didst trust in thine own
beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out
thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
He went onto to talk about her ornaments that He adorned her with as His bride.
- But she committed whoredoms.
- She was a failed bride.
- She could not continue in the COVENANT as though it was a
marriage covenant where she as a bride broke her covenant by acting a
whore with others besides God.
Eze 16:26 KJV Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians
thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to
provoke me to anger.
Eze 16:28 KJV Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians,
because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with
them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
Eze 16:31-32 KJV In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head
of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not
been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire; (32) But as a wife that
committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!
Eph 5:25 KJV Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Paul even stated that the church situation is like Adam and Eve in Genesis, when God made her from his rib.
Eph 5:30-32 KJV For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of
his bones. (31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother,
and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
(32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the
church.
Rev 21:1-5 KJV And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first
heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God
out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Instead of old Jerusalem in Ezekiel 16 who was God's bride and became a prostitute, we see a NEW JERUSALEM.
- And as God prepared Jerusalem of old with jewels and ornaments as
His bride, the NEW JERUSALEM is prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband.
