Genesis 9:8-16 KJV And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, (9) And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; (10) And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. (11) And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. (12) And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: (13) I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. (14) And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: (15) And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. (16) And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. Revelation 4:1-3 KJV After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Luke 11:20 KJV But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
The rainbow covenant is mentioned in Noah's day and concerned the thought of floods.
Everytime a cloud would come in the sky, the rainbow would be accompany it.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Genesis 6:8 KJV But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. God's throne has a rainbow around it because we come to the throne to FIND GRACE. It was part of God's everlasting covenant to Noah for perpetual generations.
Noah had words given to him very similarly to Adam. Genesis 9:1 KJV And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And Adam was also given a promise from God. Adam and Noah both went through a hard ordeal.
Genesis 3:15 KJV And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. We know that the seed of the woman is Jesus Christ. Notice that the serpent's head is bruised while the Lord's heel is bruised.
These two pictures of the rainbow promise to Noah and the Seed of the woman promise Adam heard, are related in the book of Revelation. Isaiah 66:1 KJV Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? In Revelation we find Christ as a lamb who goes to the throne where the rainbow is, and gets a covenant.
Revelation 12:1-5 KJV And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: (2) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. (3) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. (5) And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. There is the woman.
Revelation 12:9 KJV And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Here we are specifically told the dragon is the serpent of old.
And after Christ ascends to the throne, there is a war and the devil is thrown down to earth.
Jesus Christ died, was buried and resurrected to ascend into heaven and be seated on the right hand throne of God.
Ephesians 1:19-23 KJV And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, (23) Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Under his feet.
We all know the KINGDOM DOES NOT COME WITH OBSERVATION BUT IS IN YOU. Christ's throne is made MOBILE after He is involved.
Notice that around the throne are 24 elders, and four beasts.
Revelation 5:9 KJV And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; The elders and beasts represent the church members and the churches ministers of the Word. Revelation 4:4 KJV And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. Revelation 4:6-7 KJV And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. (7) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. Revelation 4:8-11 KJV And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (9) And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (10) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (11) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. When the beasts praise God, the elders watch and praise God, too.
All of this became mobile afterwards, though. Ezekiel sees virtually everything John saw. Ezekiel 1:4 KJV And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. A cloud comes. Ezekiel 1:10 KJV As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. Four living creatures, beasts, like Revelation 4. And there is even the throne and rainbow in Ezekiel. Ezekiel 1:26-28 KJV And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. (27) And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. (28) As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake. Jesus is on this throne.
We saw Christ, the cherubims or four beasts, but instead of the elders who responded to everything the four beasts did in Rev 4 and 5, look what we read... Ezekiel 1:15-21 KJV Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. (16) The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. (17) When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. (18) As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. (19) And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. (20) Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. (21) When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. The spirit of the creatures is in the wheels, and the wheels respond to everything the creatures do.
Before the cross God only ordained that there be a church.
Wheels on the Kingdom! Luke 17:20-21 KJV And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: (21) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And not only that... John 3:5 KJV Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. We are born into the kingdom.
Luke 10:8-9 KJV And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: (9) And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. The kingdom GOES WHERE WE GO.
And since Christ is on the throne, and heaven is His throne, the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN GOES WHERE WE GO.
WHEN SOMEONE IS CONFRONTED BY THE KINGDOM AS WE COME TO THEM, AND WE PREACH BAPTISM IN JESUS' NAME AND THE HOLY GHOST BAPTISM, AND THEY SUBMIT TO IT, THEY ARE BAPTIZED INTO WATER AND SPIRIT AND ENTER THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER OF DEATH, THAT WAS ONCE THE DEVIL'S HEAD, IS DEFEATED.
The enemy comes in like a flood, and the Lord lifts up a standard against it -- a RAINBOW!
Notice the feet of the cherubim were like calf's feet. In Solomon's temple... KINGDOM temple... 1 Kings 7:23 KJV And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about. 1 Kings 7:25 KJV It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward. In Revelation the throne was sitting beyond a CRYSTAL SEA.
NO MORE FLOODS. NO MORE DEATH. We died once in Christ! The kingdom keeps moving and squashes the devil's head. (10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. SALVATION COMES AND THE KINGDOM COMES.
