Here we see another woodcut drawing of what was reported to have been seen in the courtyard of the convent.  This shows that the belief was that there are ghosts of departed souls, showing the superstitious nature of the Roman Catholic Church.  It also gives credence to the thought of the evil nature of such convents, where demon spirits would lurk.
