Michael Blume
is originally
from Mississauga, Ontario, and was saved in Mississauga, Ontario 1977.
The Lord called Mike to the
ministry in 1979, and he attended Revival Temple Bible Institute,
New Brunswick, Canada, during the years of 1980-82. There he learned
how to seek after God and follow Spirit-leading. He manifested a gift
of teaching and taught in the school
in '82-83. Following his marriage to Iris Dwyer in 1983, he worked in
Fredericton, NB., during the following six years. In
1990 he pastored his first Church in Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Canada
(the
church in which he was married in 1983!), and was there almost 6 years. In
Feb. 1996 He came to Dartmouth,
Nova Scotia, and ministered there over 8 years until May 2004. In June
of that year, the Blume's left Nova Scotia and ministered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, until June 2007. They
relocated to Redlands, CA, in July 2007 and relocated to El Campo, Texas, to work with Bible Truth Church in June 2008. His ministry stresses
spiritual maturity and, as one listener described his ministry, a
wonderful blend of passion and fact.
Mike and Iris have a family of two sons, Brandon and Ian, and two daughters, Amber
and Candice. They are grandparents of two wonderful grandchildren.
